How has crime changed in Delaware since 1985?

Police in Delaware reported about 352 violent crimes per 100,000 people in 2025 (U.S.: 329), down from a high of 739 in 1997, and 1,582 property crimes in 2025 (U.S.: 1,552), down from a high of 5,193 in 1991.
