Chartly (chart.ly) is run by Nimble Labs LLC. This page explains what we collect when you use it. The short version: you can read every chart without an account, we keep our visitor statistics in our own database, and we don't sell your information.

When you read charts

We count visits and page views with our own analytics, stored on our servers rather than sent to an analytics company. For each visit we record the pages you open, the page that sent you here, your browser and device type, and your IP address. Two cookies tell one visit from the next. We use this to learn which charts people find useful.

When you create an account

An account is optional. If you create one we keep your name, email address and a securely hashed password, or, if you sign in with Google, the name, email address and profile picture Google shares with us. We may email you news about Chartly; every email has an unsubscribe link, and we record whether our emails are opened or clicked.

When you get new charts by email

The weekly email needs only your email address. We keep it, where you signed up and when you confirmed, and use it only to send that email. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.

When you contact us

The contact form sends us your name, email address and message, which we keep so we can reply.

Services we rely on

Sign-up and the contact form are protected from spam by Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Our typeface is loaded from Google Fonts and a small script from jsDelivr, which see your IP address when they send those files. We send email through SendGrid. We share information with no one else, except where the law requires it.

Your choices

You can change or delete your account from your account settings, unsubscribe from any email, or block cookies in your browser; the charts still work. To ask what we hold about you or to have it removed, contact us.

If this policy changes, we'll update it here with a new date.
