Dole Fresh Vegetables Inc, of Monterey, CA, recalled Classic Garden Salad and 48 other products. The FDA's reason: “Dole is suspending operations and withdrawing all marketed Dole and private label salads produced at the Springfield OH facility. Products may be identified with a product code beginning with the...” The FDA classified it Class I: it could cause serious harm or death. The company began the recall voluntarily on January 22, 2016, and the FDA first listed it in its Enforcement Report of March 9, 2016.
