Kraft Foods Group, of Northfield, IL, recalled Fat free cottage cheese sold under the Knudsen or Kraft brand and packaged in a plastic container with a net weight... and 10 other products. The FDA's reason: “Kraft Foods is voluntarily recalling 18 SKUs of Knudsen Cottage Cheese, nine SKUs of Breakstone's Cottage Cheese, five SKUs of Simply Kraft Cottage Cheese and two SKUs of Daily Chef Cottage Cheese...” The FDA classified it Class II: it could cause temporary or minor harm. The company began the recall voluntarily on May 16, 2014, and the FDA first listed it in its Enforcement Report of July 30, 2014. The FDA has closed the recall: it found the company did all it reasonably could to remove or correct the product.
