In the week of September 21, 2026, regular gas cost $5.60 a gallon on the West Coast, $1.63 more than on the Gulf Coast ($3.97), where most US refineries are. The regions are EIA's five fuel-supply districts, and the chart shows its latest weekly survey, taxes included.
