How often do college football home teams win?
Home teams won 59.7% of regular-season games between two FBS (top-division) teams in 2025, and between 54% and 64% in every season since 1941. In 2020, when most stadiums were nearly empty, it was 56.5%. A tie counts as half a win; games at neutral sites are left out. The chart starts in 1900; CollegeFootballData.com's records before then cover only a few dozen such games a season.
