At what ages do American women have babies?
In 2024 women aged 30 to 34 had the highest birth rate, 93.7 births per 1,000 women, just ahead of women aged 25 to 29 (89.5). Teens aged 15 to 19 (12.6) and women aged 40 to 44 (12.7) had almost the same rate. 2024 is the latest year of final birth data.
