Which U.S. banks hold the most deposits?

The interactive chart needs JavaScript. The numbers are on the chart's page.

JPMorgan Chase Bank held $2.82 trillion in deposits at the end of June 2026, the most of any U.S. bank, followed by Bank of America ($2.12 trillion), Wells Fargo Bank ($1.56 trillion) and Citibank ($1.55 trillion). Deposits are each bank's total, including any at its offices abroad, from its latest quarterly report to regulators; a bank is one legal company, so a group with several banks appears once for each.
