Chart 1 of 1 · Consumer complaints
What financial products do people complain about most?
The interactive chart needs JavaScript. The numbers are on the chart's page.
Credit reports drew 4.81 million of the 5.44 million complaints the CFPB received in 2025, about 88%. Debt collection came next with 283,204, then credit cards (89,978), money transfers, apps and crypto (84,619) and checking and savings accounts (84,195). Complaints aren't verified, and a product more people use can draw more complaints. Product names are the CFPB's, in plain words.
