Chart 1 of 1 · Baby names
Which baby names are falling fastest?
The interactive chart needs JavaScript. The numbers are on the chart's page.
In 2025, Liam (boys) lost more babies than any other name: 1,434 fewer than the year before. Dylan (boys) fell by 1,279, and Olivia (girls) by 1,228. This compares each name's babies with the year before, girls' and boys' names together. Social Security leaves out any name given to fewer than 5 babies in a year.
