Search any of the 3,143 U.S. counties. In the Census Bureau's 5-year survey ending in 2024, Loudoun County, Virginia, had the highest median household income, $181,765, and Owsley County, Kentucky, the lowest, $22,188. Small counties' estimates have wide margins of error, and Connecticut appears as its nine planning regions, which replaced its counties in Census data.
